12-year-old boy from Cibeber Cianjur dies by drowning in Cikondang River

JABARNEWS I CIANJUR – The Cikondang River in Ciluncat Village, RT 2/1, Cibadak Village, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency, again claimed lives.

Misfortune befell Yusup Rilvadi (12), a boy who drowned in the Cikondang River while swimming with four friends at around 14.00 WIB, Friday (10/6/2022).

“The victim who is still a teenager is known by local residents,” said Village Head (Kades) Elan Hermawan when contacted directly via text message.

He said, a boy who is still in grade 4 SD, attends Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Ciluncat. The victim drowned right in the Cikondang river in Leuwipari Village, Cibadak Village.

“Indeed, the river where the five children swim is quite deep and is estimated to reach 2.5 meters,” said one village head in Cibeber sub-district.
