Bali United Coach Protests the Bubble System Implemented by PT LIB United coach Stefano Cugurra stated that the “bubble” system planned for the continuation of Liga 1 2022/2023 was not effective for all participating clubs in the competition.

In addition to losing the momentum to return to the “home-away” system in the match, the factor of being away from family support is also a determining factor in the game of each player.< /p>

“In my opinion the ‘bubble’ system is clearly not ideal for all clubs,” said the coach who is familiarly called Teco, through the club’s official website, Friday, responding to the bubble system which will be implemented in the continuation of this season’s competition.

Previously, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) planned to continue League 1 for the 2022-2023 season to be held with a bubble system in Central Java until the first round was completed or until match week 17.

There are four stadiums prepared for the League 1 bubble scheme, namely Maguwoharjo Stadium (Sleman), Jatidiri Stadium (Semarang), Sultan Agung Stadium (Bantul), and dr Moch Soebroto Stadium (Magelang).

At the same time, PT LIB as the organizer of the competition also stated its plan to resume the 2022/2023 League 1 which was stopped due to the Kanjuruhan Tragedy to start on December 2.

Regarding the continuation of League 1 2022/2023, Teco said that so far the club only needs confirmation via a letter of notification complete with match locations and a definite schedule.

“It is better for us to get a schedule with certainty of playing and then we can comment,” said the Brazilian coach who has won the League 1 competition three times.

So far, Teco is still providing a training program for his squad since the competition for the highest football caste in Indonesia was stopped last October.

All preparations were made by Teco while waiting for confirmation of the return of the Indonesian football competition which has been eagerly awaited by Indonesian football fans.
