The West Java Police Brimob SAR Team Checks Landslide-Prone Cliffs in Lembang, Here Are the Results

JABARNEWS | BANDUNG – The SAR Team Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer of the West Java Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) carried out a SAR patrol to check cliffs prone to landslides in Lembang District, West Bandung Regency.

Commander of the West Java Police Brimob Unit, Kombes Pol. Yuri Karsono said that this was done because there was an erratic change in the weather which was feared to have an unwanted impact resulting in landslides.

“The SAR patrol continues to check the location of cliffs prone to landslides to anticipate things that are not desirable,” Yuri said in a statement received, Wednesday (2/11/2022).
“If conditions do not allow, the West Java Police Mobile Brigade Unit will immediately intervene to help evacuate residents,” he added.

Yuri explained that the activities carried out by his personnel in the field are a form of preparedness in the context of preventing natural disasters.
