A total of 13 countries participated in the joint exercise, including Indonesia.

SGS 2022 is an annual joint exercise between the TNI and the US Indo-Pacific Command (Indopacom) designed to strengthen interoperability, capability, mutual trust, and cooperation among personnel of participating countries in an operation.
