Governor Ansar Attends Breaking the Fast and Sharing with 2,000 Orphans throughout Batam

batampos– The Golkar Party Family of Riau Islands Province returns held a routine agenda of breaking the fast with 2,000 orphans, at the Golden Prawn Restaurant Ballroom, Bengkong, Batam City, Sunday (7/4).

This time, the 12th routine agenda carried out by the Golkar Party of Riau Islands Province, was also attended directly by the Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, as well as administrators, cadres and sympathizers from the party with the banyan tree logo.

In addition to breaking the fast, orphans from various foundations in Batam City also had the opportunity to receive compensation provided by the Chairman of the Golkar Party Advisory Council for Riau Islands Province Ansar Ahmad and other party administrators.

In his speech, Governor Ansar Ahmad said that this breaking the fast activity was a routine agenda that the Golkar Party always carried out, in order to maintain the friendship of the entire Golongan Karya Party family.

According to him, the Golkar Party continues to be committed to maintaining friendship. Moreover, Ramadhan is a very appropriate month for gathering, sharing and also showing concern for all Muslim brothers and sisters.

"Therefore, today we deliberately share a little happiness with orphaned children," explained Ansar Ahmad.

He also added that from this joint fasting activity, he hopes that an even better brotherhood will be built in the future, so that blessings from Allah SWT can always be achieved.

"Moreover, in the recent elections, the Golkar Party succeeded in achieving victory together with the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, by electing the President and Vice President, and also succeeded in winning seats in the legislative elections. "Of course, this is a success that we should all be grateful for," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Kepri Golkar Party DPD, Ahmad Mak'ruf, admitted that this breaking the fast activity was part of the sharing of the Golkar Party.

“Share our sustenance with our brothers and sisters, who are less fortunate. "Apart from this, it is a form of our concern as an open and religious party," he explained briefly. (*)
