Indonesian national team player Justin Hubner when registering his debut was in a trial match against Libya which ended in a 0-4 defeat at the Mardan Sports Complex, Antalya, Turkey, Tuesday (2/1/2024).

batampos – Coach Shin Tae Yong (STY) has officially narrowed down the names of 29 Indonesian U-23 National Team players to 23 players to fight in the 2024 Qatar U-23 Asian Cup which starts on April 15 to May 3 . From the list of 23 players, Justin Hubner, who plays for the Cerezo Osaka club, is included.

Meanwhile, SC Heerenveen club player, Nathan Tjoe-A-On, was one of the names dropped after Erlangga Setyo (PSPS Riau), Bagas Kaffa (Barito Putera), Haykal Alhafiz (PSIS Semarang), Alfeandra Dewangga (PSIS Semarang), and Rifky Dwi Septiawan (Persita Tangerang).

Nathan was not allowed by his club, while Dewangga had to undergo surgery due to an injury. Meanwhile, other players were dropped because they were unable to compete.

Meanwhile, the name that has been hotly discussed recently is Justin Hubner, a defender who plays for Cerezo Osaka, and is included in the squad list for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup.

Of the 23 players named by the coach from South Korea, 10 of them were players who strengthened Indonesia when they made history at the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar early last year. The names are Ernando Ari, Rizky Ridho, Justin Hubner, Pratama Arhan, Ivar Jenner, Marselino Ferdinan, Witan Sulaeman, Ramadhan Sananta, Hokky Caraka, and Rafael Struick.

Garuda Muda has just finished training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. There, Rizky Ridho cs underwent two trial matches against Saudi Arabia which ended in a 1-3 defeat and the United Arab Emirates which ended in a 1-0 win.

Indonesia is in Group A of the U-23 Asian Cup with hosts Qatar, Australia and Jordan with the first match against Qatar on April 15, then against Australia on April 18 and Jordan on April 21.
