Ahmad Dhani received 134,199 votes. Ahamd Dhani's vote tally was indeed not the one that won the highest number of votes in the East Java I electoral district among a number of legislative candidates from the Gerindra Party. Ahmad Dhani only managed to get the second highest number of votes.

The winner of the highest number of votes from the party whose icon is Prabowo Subianto fell to IrBambang Haryo Soekartono. He received a total of 190,744 votes.

Ahmad Dhani was saved by the party's large number of votes. As a result, the Gerindra Party in the East Java I electoral district which includes Surabaya and Sidoarjo received 2 seats.

With this number of votes, Mulan Jameela is in second place with the most votes among a number of other legislative candidates from Gerindra. The legislative candidate with the most votes was Muhammad Husein Fadlullah with a total of 118,648 votes.

Mulan Jameela can qualify for Senayan provided that Gerindra in the West Java XI electoral district gets 2 seats. If he only gets one seat, Mulan Jameela, who is the incumbent legislative candidate, will be forced to leave Senayan. (*)
