There are many allegations of election fraud, Chairman of the Indonesian KPU: There was no intention

Jakarta (beritajatim.com) – There is a lot of talk about revealing data on alleged fraud in the 2024 Election, as revealed by the National Winning Team of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN). One of them is about the data in Sirekap which is inflated and not the same as C Results.

Deputy Chair of the AMIN National Team Expert Council, Amin Subekti, explained that his party had received many reports from the public regarding alleged fraud during the 2024 election.

These reports come in via social media and groups on WhatsApp, especially regarding differences in data between the C1 form and the calculations on the KPU's official website, namely https://pemilu2024.kpu.go.id.

"We are doing an in-depth investigation by checking the site to find out whether there are any weaknesses in the upload process," he said on Thursday (15/2/2024).

In response to this, the Chairman of the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU), Hasyim Asy'ari, emphasized that there was no intention to manipulate the C1-Plano Model Form or the record of the 2024 Election vote counting results through the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap).

"There was no intention to manipulate, there was no intention to change the vote results because basically the Plano Results C1 Form was uploaded as is," said Hasyim at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, on Thursday.

Hasyim explained that the C1-Plano Model Form uploaded by the voting organizer group (KPPS) officers could be monitored and watched together.

Meanwhile, Hasyim announced that the publication of Sirekap today, at 15.30.23 WIB, showed progress with 358,775 uploads from 823,236 TPS or the equivalent of 43.58 percent.

The KPU, added Hasyim, will continue to upload the C1-Plano Model Form so that the public continues to receive information until the final deadline.

"It's just that, for conversions where by chance the system reads them inaccurately or incorrectly, corrections will be made to match what is contained in the uploaded form," he stressed. [ian]
