PPP Prepares Right of Inquiry Regarding Alleged PSI Vote Inflation in the 2024 Election

JABARNEWS │ BANDUNG – Chairman of the Advisory Council of the United Development Party (PPP), Muhammad Romahurmuziy< /a> or Romi, announced that his party was ready to submit right of inquiry after the DPR entered session on March 5 2024.

Romi explained that the PPP would bring material related to alleged vote inflation for the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in a structured, systematic and massive manner (TSM) in the right of inquiry.

"In order to monitor the truth of the election results, PPP is ready to bring this material as material for the right to inquiry," said Romi to the media on Monday (4/3).

Romi explained that every invalid vote in recent times was allegedly deliberately shifted to PSI votes, and PPP was determined to expose this practice.

Romi stated that the PPP would urge all state officials involved in the alleged inflating of PSI votes to be summoned to the DPR after the right of inquiry was approved.

"Summons will be made to all relevant authorities, including KPPS, PPS, PPK, KPUD, KPU, Bawaslu, and other related agencies," emphasized the alumnus of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

Apart from political efforts such as the right to inquiry, PPP will also take legal steps to address allegations of fraud in the 2024 election through related institutions such as Bawaslu.

"The DPR will accelerate and make breakthroughs through the right to inquiry so that acts of election fraud like this can be stopped," added Romi.

Romi also called on all relevant parties to stop all operations aimed at inflating PSI's vote tally in the 2024 election, and requested that all vote data that had been manipulated be returned to the actual figures within 24 hours.

“Within 1×24 hours, PSI's vote tally must be returned to its actual figure. "Every act of manipulation of election results is a serious violation of the law," he concluded. (red)
