Sampang Residents Catch Cat-Eating Python

Sampang (beritajatim.com) – A 4 meter long python has again shocked residents on Jalan Lawu, Rongtengah Village, Sampang District/Regency.

This jumbo-sized snake was first discovered by local resident Hadi when he was going to the bathroom. Suddenly he was shocked and shouted for help from local residents. "The snake was seen crawling when I was going to the bathroom, because the bathroom is outside the house," he said, Tuesday (12/2/2024).

He added that residents who came tried to catch the snake and it was discovered that a cat had been removed from the snake's mouth. "It seems that the snake had eaten a cat but was released because it was chased by residents," he added.

In the same place, Mawet also admitted that he was relieved because the python had been caught. This is because many residents' chickens disappeared because they were thought to have been eaten by pythons.
