Open SPM Workshop, This is the request from the Acting Mayor of Kediri to the OPD

Kediri (beritajatim.com) – Acting Mayor of Kediri Zanariah opened the Kediri City Government Minimum Service Standards (SPM) Implementation Workshop for 2024 which took place in the Kilisuci Room of Kediri City Hall, Wednesday (6/3/ 2024).

"Welcome and thank Mr. M. Zamzani B. Tjenreng Acting Secretary of the Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs for attending this workshop. "Hopefully this meeting will strengthen our synergy and commitment to carrying out government and development tasks, especially in efforts to implement SPM to meet the country's basic needs in accordance with statutory provisions," said the Acting Mayor of Kediri.

Zanariah emphasized that in order to ensure the availability of basic services in an adequate, sustainable, quality, fast, easy, affordable and targeted manner, this SPM was prepared. The preparation of this SPM goes through four stages, namely data collection, calculating the need for basic service fulfillment, preparing a plan for basic service fulfillment and implementing basic service fulfillment and reporting.

The Acting Mayor of Kediri further explained that based on Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 59 of 2021, that regional governments are obliged to submit reports on the implementation of SPM which are included in the Regional Government Implementation Report (LPPD) which is carried out during one fiscal year. SPM implementation reports are also submitted periodically every three months through an application-based SPM reporting system.

The importance of implementing SPM in an effort to meet the basic needs of citizens, Zanariah asked OPD to first prepare and report SPM achievement data every quarter in 2024 via e-SPM of the Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, taking into account SPM achievements, budget allocation and realization mission as well as inputting or attaching the four stages of implementing the SPM.

Second, to increase team synergy and ensure that the SPM activity program is integrated into regional planning documents. Apart from that, it also oversees budget allocation for each sub-activity for fulfilling the SPM.
